How can I deposit USD or buy crypto on an exchange to trade crypto futures or use a better exchange that US-only exchanges?

Due to (and sometimes lack of) regulations, US-only exchanges don't offer crypto futures or leverage. Non-US exchanges are better for the active trader, but don't offer the ability to link a bank account for ACH deposits and withdrawals, and are forced to use a 3rd party service to buy crypto which typically has ridiculous fees. The work around for this is to use a US-only exchange strictly for depositing/withdrawal using ACH tranfers, trading USD for USDT, then sending that over to your favored exchange. Up until recently, Binance.us was the #1 choice to do this, as they support multiple networks (ERC20, TRC20, BEP20, etc.) to send/receive tokens on a network that has low gas fees such as BEP20. Until further notice Binance.us has become a crypto-only exchange with no USD support. Alternatively, exchanges such as Coinbase or Kraken still support USD and offer linking of banks and cards- Kraken is the preferred method as it does support low gas/transaction fee networks such as TRC20 and Polygon, where Coinbase is network specific to the coin being sent or somtimes ERC20 so if you prfer their exchange it's best to use a low gas blockchain like Stellar(XLM).

Deposit steps:
1. Using Kraken or Coinbase with your bank linked, deposit USD.
2. Trade USD for USDT. (Or a low gas token like XLM if using Coinbase)
3. On your preferred exchange for trading, select deposit and choose USDT (or whichever coin chosen on Coinbase) and for network use TRC20 or Polygon. Copy the provided address.
4. On Kraken/Coinbase, select withdrawal and choose USDT (or whichever coin chosen on Coinbase) then the correct network you selected in the previous step.
5. Send it. Wait for it confirm on the blockchain, and now you can trade using a proper exchange with more volume, trading types, and better features than Kraken and Coinbase.

When withdrawaling; just trade whatever coins your holding for USDT and send it back to Kraken/Coinbase where you can transfer it to your bank via ACH.
